The Arab Health Exhibition & Congress is the largest event of its kind in the Middle East. Now in its 37th year, Arab Health provides an unrivalled platform for the world’s leading manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors to meet the medical and scientific community from the Middle East and beyond. BRENMOOR will be exhibiting once more at Arab Health in 2012 with full demonstration of our patient identification product ranges – hospital bracelets, blood bag tags, hospital labels and much more. The medical exhibition season starts again shortly and BRENMOOR will once again be exhibiting at the two largest in the world. We start at Medica in Dusseldorf from the 16th-19th of November 2011. We can be found on the British Pavilion in Hall 16 Stand G10. We have also secured another place at Arab Health in Dubai in January 2012. We will publish the details of where to find us nearer the event. At both events we will be showing our printable hospital wristbands, STAB labels and the brilliant and simple blood bag tag.

BRENMOOR’s world wide patented blood bag tag has been nominated for a medical innovations award. There is great excitement here at BRENMOOR as we wait for the decision from the panel. It is a great honour for us just to be recognised. The blood bag tag is a simple one piece design that is quick and easy to use and will securely identify the contents of a Blood bag as being compatible with a particular patient. It saves Blood Bank’s time and money.

BRENMOOR printable wristbands are used in more UK hospitals than any other printable wristbands. On the back of the success of the wristbands Brenmoor have released new products that hospitals now trust and rely on as much as they do the wristbands. PATscan replicates the patient information held on a wristband onto another wristband or label by simply scanning the barcode. It takes less than a second for the label to print an exact replica of the patient demographic onto this new label. It is quicker and more accurate than hand writing tube or sample labels as the chance of human error is completely removed.

The UK’s Department of Health has released a list of 25 unacceptable errors in the NHS, and warned that hospitals will be stripped of funding if they are found to be at fault. After consulting health partners such as the NHS, health professionals, the Royal Colleges and the public, the department has extended the current list of eight serious preventable errors to 25. The latest list includes events such as severe harm/death due to transfusing wrong type of blood, severe scalding and severe harm/death due to misidentifying patients by failing to use the standard wristband identification processes.

Riding on the success of previous years Brenmoor will be once again exhibiting at MEDICA between the 17 – 20 November 2010 at the Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. We will be demonstrating our famous wristbands and our patented and innovative blood bag tag which is already proving a huge hit within the NHS in the UK. Lastly we will be showing the PATscanner system outside of the UK for the first time. PATscanner can completely put an end to miss identified sample tubes on wards and in hospital labs. We will be located on the UK Pavilion, hall 16 stand G10, old and new partners come and say hello.

Brenmoor had huge success at the Arab Health 2010 exhibition and as a result we will be once again be attending the show. The show will be now a regular on the Brenmoor calendar. We will be using the show to meet some of our overseas partners and showcase our new products. We are also seeking new partners based in specific countries. Arab Health runs from 24 – 27 January 2011 and is held in the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Months of development work have gone into the latest product range from BRENMOOR. PATscan-Ward and PATscan-Theatre have been designed to completely remove the need for hand writing labels and other patient ID products whilst on the ward and in theatre. The stand alone kits work straight from out of the box and are used in conjunction with our range of wristbands and labels. They put an end to hand written sample tubes, samples and wristbands.

Brenmoor will be on hand all week in Grassington at the annual arts Festival to help ensure that there is a steady flow of people into the event. The first night was a huge success and everyone wearing a wristband was quickly admitted to the secure area. The Grassington Festival has a 2 week long program, the last 5 days are held in a specially constructed Marquis.
